The Andrews Labor Government is helping more innovative tech businesses establish themselves in Victoria, with Elenium Automation officially opening its global headquarters in Tullamarine.

Minister for Industry and Employment Ben Carroll today visited Elenium’s new offices and celebrated an investment that will create 25 new jobs for Melbourne’s north.

“To have another digital company choose Melbourne as its operational base cements our reputation as a magnet for tech and business investment.”

Elenium provides self-service and automation technologies for use in the aviation sector including kiosks for check-in, self-bag-drops, and automatic boarding.

The business has been supplying airports and airlines across the globe, including in New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea and Australia – while also working with national and international airline carriers.

Two former Jetstar employees, Aaron and Fred (Pictured with Minister for Industry & Employment Ben Carroll MP) are taking on the world with their business Elenium Automation which provides kiosks for check-in, self-bag drops, and automatic boarding at airports across the globe including at New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Papua New Guinea and Australia. 

Victoria is Australia’s digital technology leader, with world-class skills and capabilities in cyber security, ICT education, artificial intelligence, web and mobile app development, cloud computing, systems data, software development and advanced digital tech research.

The state’s digital technology sector generates about $35 billion in revenue annually and is made up of 86,000 Victorians and 8,000 businesses.
